Style of Mine

The adventures and struggles of a petite, geeky journalist-in-training living in New Zealand.

Epic hero; super villain

Wearing thin grey woollen coat, lace panel cardigan, lacey neck tank-top, black skinnies, grey cotton scarf, brown buckle boots, woollen fedora and black woven belt.

I took my inspiration from characters such as Zorro and Van Helsing today, and seeing as the outfit was predominantly grey, I thought I’d try some Cleopatra-esque eye make-up as an accessory. I used blue, iridescent turquoise, and gold shadows, and black eyeliner, of course. I’ve had a long day today; had to go and give a tutoring session in the afternoon, and I also had to present a tutorial for my history class in the morning on the Mughal Harem. I talked about the ruby and garnet jackets that one of the brides got as a wedding gift. She got nine gem-studded jackets, and nine pairs of earrings with corresponding stones.

Seeing as I had a couple of hours to waste between class and work, I went underwear shopping. A good bra really does make all the difference.
